Great Frederick Fair Youth compete in the Youth Baked Goods Departments, consisting of 8 divisions: Quick Breads, Yeast Breads, Cakes, Cookies, Candies, Fruit Pies, Miscellaneous and Healthy Choice/Gluten Free.
Many of these items are auctioned off on Sunday in the South Side Tire & Auto Beef Show Ring (18). 10% of the proceeds goes directly to the baker! Remaining funds offset youth programming fees and scholarships. $39,000 in scholarships have been given out from proceeds of the cake sale since 2022!!
