RENTAL INFORMATION & REQUIREMENTS

A Certificate of Liability (COI) is required for all events held at The Frederick Fairgrounds.
The Frederick County Fire and Rescue Services Division requires certain tent guidelines to be met. For questions regarding tents at your event, please email email@example.com or call 301-600-1479.
All mobile food vending platforms are required to be inspected annually by the Frederick County Fire and Rescue’s Office of the Fire Marshal. For questions regarding food control at your event, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 301-600-2542.
Any event where alcohol will be sold requires an alcohol permit from the Liquor Board. For questions regarding alcohol at your event, please email email@example.com or call 301-600-2984.
Outdoor events must be approved by zoning, permits, health department, and fire marshal’s office before we can issue our license.
Any event, festival or like occurrence that will have 2,000 or more individuals in attendance at any time during the occurrence will need a large event permit. Questions regarding this large event permit, please visit http://www.cityoffrederick.com or call 301-600-3808.
