Agri-science Field Day

at The Great Frederick Fair

High School agricultural students from Frederick, Carroll, Montgomery, and Washington Counties will converge on The Great Frederick Fairgrounds for the opportunity to participate in the Agri-science Field Day.

The event will feature local professionals giving demonstrations on several agricultural topics. Students will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities related to the demonstration. All demonstrations will last approximately 30 minutes each.

Carroll Shry, retired landscaping instructor at the Frederick Career and TechnologyCenter, believes it to be “the greatest hands-on program we can offer individual students.” This annual event has taken place at The Great Frederick Fair for the past fifteen years and involves hundreds of students.
